Electronic editions (e-Editions) of the newspaper are available as part of your NiE order. It’s new and it’s easy. Teachers and students can now access their local APN newspaper and NiE page on their computers.
 
The e-Edition is an exact replica of the newspaper, with enhanced capabilities, delivered on a password-protected website. Students connect with their communities with a click of the mouse, complimenting resources and methods students already use to get information. It’s a simple, safe way to keep up with ICT developments.
 
Teachers who order e-Editions for use in their classrooms simply supply their email address. They receive an email with their Log-in and Password and an e-Edition Starter User Guide PowerPoint containg navigation tips and sample lessons.

A toolbar makes navigation easy. There are loads of extra functions that help the user find and work with the information in the newspaper.
You can search the e-Edition for information that has been published in your APN newspaper – reliable information that has been vetted and passed editorial review. Hyperlinks further aid research.
Saved, e-mailed or printed articles include the section, date and page number at the top of the page. Students have a complete record of the source, helpful in developing good research practices and aiding analysis and critical thinking.
