It's school holiday time. The next NiE page, an X-Press page on The Digestive System\ will be published on October 25th and the final Rugby Mad page on October 26th.

The NiE NewsSplash page on Signs and symbols was published on September 27.  The page looks how signs and symbols are forms of communication and expression.  We look at some different types of symbols and explore how they can be used to express messages, ideas, values and personal qualities as well as personal identity.

You can leap off the page to look at different ways of communicating, road and other kinds of safety signs, symbolism in art and craft, religious symbolism, family history and more.  For more teaching suggestions click onto the More information tab.
